Igdir University Senate accepted the opening of Tuzluca Vocational School with its decision dated 04.01.2013 and decided to convey this decision to the Presidency of the Council of Higher Education. Iğdır University Rectorate presented the proposal for the establishment of Tuzluca Vocational School located in Tuzluca District at the Higher Education General Assembly meeting dated 02.05.2013 and it was found appropriate in accordance with Article 7/d-2 of Law No. 2547, amended by Law No. 2880. In line with this compliance, Tuzluca Vocational School was officially opened with the letter of the Presidency of the Council of Higher Education dated 15.05.2013 and the first Director was appointed on 01.10.2013. This process is an important turning point that determines the establishment and management of the school.
